Scope

The goal of this project was to deliver a comprehensive solution for hospitals to manage and collect patient consent in a secure and user-friendly way. To accelerate this initiative, Docaposte acquired a startup specialized in this field, with the mission to redesign their tools and transform them into fully integrated Docaposte products. The main challenge was to create interfaces that could serve a wide range of users : patients, doctors, secretaries, and administrative staff.

Process

The project began with field immersions in hospitals to deeply understand existing practices, constraints, and user needs. Interviews with patients, practitioners, and hospital staff revealed key pain points and expectations. Based on these insights, we conducted several testing and iteration cycles. On the design side, I worked on migrating the startup’s interfaces into Docaposte’s design system, ensuring consistency, simplicity, and accessibility. The UI designs were tailored to different usage contexts: a clean and reassuring patient journey, as well as clear and efficient tools for healthcare professionals and administrative teams.

Solution

The final product is a complete suite of tools and dashboards designed to support hospitals in every step of the consent management process. It includes patient information management, form creation and distribution, customizable email templates, data visualization dashboards, and more. This unified solution provides an intuitive and reliable experience while ensuring compliance. User testing confirmed smoother adoption: patients felt guided and reassured throughout the process, while doctors and secretaries gained efficiency through simplified, coherent interfaces. The product now integrates seamlessly into the Docaposte ecosystem, with a harmonized visual identity and a streamlined design built to last.
